Jeanine Voorman studeerde geneeskunde aan de Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam en behaalde in 2000 cum laude haar artsdiploma. Na 6 maanden werkzaam te zijn geweest als AGNIO op de afdeling revalidatiegeneeskunde in het VUmc, is zij in 2001 is gestart met de opleiding tot revalidatiearts in het VUmc en RC Heliomare, hetgeen zij combineerde met de opleiding tot klinisch onderzoeker (AGIKO-constructie). In 2009 promoveerde zij op het onderzoek 'Cerebral palsy and the transition to adolescence; course of functioning, self-perception and quality of life', met als promotoren Prof. dr. J.G. Becher en Prof. dr. C. Schuengel. Ze sloot haar opleiding af met een fellowship kinderrevalidatiegeneeskunde in het VUmc. Tijdens haar opleiding specialiseerde zij zich in de behandeling van kinderen met cerebrale parese, klinische gangbeeldanalyse en spasticiteitsbehandeling onder leiding van Prof. dr. J.G. Becher. Van 2010 tot en met 2016 was zijn werkzaam als kinderrevalidatiearts bij Merem / Revalidatiecentrum De Trappenberg, locatie Almere. Sinds januari 2017 is zij werkzaam als revalidatiearts in het Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis / UMC Utrecht.

Jeanine werkt als onderzoeker binnen het Kenniscentrum Revalidatiegeneeskunde Utrecht, het onderzoeks- en innovatiecentrum van het Revalidatiecentrum De Hoogstraat en de afdeling Revalidatie, Fysiotherapiewetenschap en Sport van het UMCU. Jeanine is lid van de Kindersectie, de Werkgroep Cerebrale Parese en de Wetenschappelijke Commissie van de VRA. Daarnaast is zij bestuurslid van Stichting CP-Net.
